Making Sephora stores the go-to destination for holiday gifting and beauty

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, at Sephora stores.

This holiday season, Sephora asked us to help them create, design, and build a series of beautiful pop-up shops across Canada to provide customers with the perfect retail gifting experience.

Ribbons were our main theme this year - a metaphor for how the holidays can tie us together and connect us.

The coolest thing of all? The concept was universal. For different people, a ribbon has a different meaning: an iconic element for gift-giving (or self-gifting!), a symbol of celebration that is used throughout various cultures around the world, and an expression of support for - an idea, cause, or belief.

We imagined a shopping experience filled with shiny trees, large holiday icons, and eye-catching colours, all connected by patterns, textures and the movement of ribbons. A modern, reimagined winter wonderland, that was less traditional (red, white, gold) and more inclusive, and thoughtful for everyone, just like Sephora.
